C4D native noises - two different nodes

What exactly difference is between two nodes which support native C4D noises - Noise4D and Noise(OSL)(S) ? They both little different in operating ( Noise4D is much slower ) and even produce little different results using the same settings.

Ok I was reading manual and very well explained here but anyway editing osl version works fluently fast realtime in lv node4d version not. Also osl has simple gradient like correction tools all in one window.

Thank you for clarification. So what is the best safe and efficient method to use C4D noises ? Using which node ? We have at the moment many methods to use the same features.

This one is emulation ?

OSL noise ( red one ) is from C4D tab and manual says that it is not safe to use...

I did further more deep comparisions with two nodes and :

- Noise4D produce better results because noise patterns are less evenly spaced without visible repetitions in some situations probably because better projections
- Noise4D has working "Aboslute" switch
- Noise4D is much slower than C4D Noise OSL while editing parameters
- Noise4D produce very high GPU usage during editing, C4D Noise - more CPU usage
- They both render at the same speed
- C4D Noise works in realtime using LV. Noise4D needs more time while changing parameters even using simple Transform node
