Download some of these HDRIs from the link below and test with your scene to get more believable reflections.

also add a wood texture for the surface.

thanks for your reply. I have changed my render to HDRi and took wood texture.
Now, what do you think? And one question: how can I rotate texture? Do I have
to do this in Blender?

Add some reflection to your table, and play a bit with the tonemapping and exposure control. Maybe add vignetting to the scene. :)

thank you for your tips, now could you point me in the right direction regarding tonemapping and exposure, please?
I guess the exposure is in Preview Images but have no idea where to look for tonemapping. What is that in general
anyway?

Camera response in is same section. Change it to another response curve to see your render updated. Basically play with all these controls to get the result you are after.
