Iam trying to achieve a hologram material like shown in this tutorial.

Trying to adapt the tutorial and parameters like in the video.
One thing i could not achieve that i got the "transparent" look.
In the video they avoid to use the opacity chanel.

Is this possible with the integrated functions in LW Octane too?

I would suggest the Specular Material combined with the Falloff Texture node and optionally a Material Mixer for better control.
You can use a Diffuse material with an Emission to make the edges glow...
