Hi There, I am starting my unreal journey. I really don’t want to leave octane as the quality difference is still significant. But the speed you can get out of it is incredible. Whilst playing features I’d love to see move to Cinema 4d and Octane are:
- Decal painting using setup textures
- Octane to Unreal material via datasmith (so I wouldn’t have to retexture scenes or workable if plug-in installed on unreal and c4d
- Mesh painting (neater than vertex maps and scatter) < cool but not artist friendly
- RT (which I know your already working on)
- Nanite Equivalent
Every time I hit render on octane it excites me so these are just suggestions to keep improving
Cheers
Jack
