Octane wont show up in R25

Does anyone know how to get octane installed properly when it will not show up? I have both versions 1.4 R3 and R2 downloaded and tried to install both versions but they do not show up when I add the plugins to the plugins folder and preferences folder. Does anyone know how to fix this?

please note that you need to upgrade C4D R25 to R25.117 or greater, or plugin cannot be correctly loaded, please go to your MyMaxon page and download the update.
