NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 can't run demo?

I am trying to try the demo out but am told I don't have a cuda supported device yet I have a NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800.
Can you give any words of wisdom to try this out?

have you installed the cuda tool kit ?
i use the nvidia Fx 4800 took less than a minate to install and use.
