Sorry but im a complete noobe and ive searched for this question but people are exporting out of Octane to other apps or they are using R16 so im thinking with the latest R25 and Octane my problem is probably much easier to solve. Yes I have R25 but I still prefer R23.

So im now modelling my own objects and rather than keep building scenes around them im interested in exporting my C4D object with materials into another C4D & Octane scene with pre setup lights and maybe a studio scene. So ive got a model of a glass bottle of hot sauce and I want to paste it into a scene of a photography studio with a product table and softbox lights etc that I know creates great renders. Id expect this process to be simple exporting from one scene to another in the same apps, being R25 & Octane. Please can you tell me what is the best way to do this?

Perhaps you know specific words that I can search the answer in YouTube?

In the future I can learn about exporting to other apps but for now I love Octane.

Thanks

This is how to copy objects between C4D scenes with Redshift: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0enX8wEmiQ

Is this how it works with Octane too?

I guess I expect thing is 3d to be so hard after watching tutorials I overlook the obvious.
I expected to be stuggling exporting materials into the Tex folder etc.
