Hi,
I am having problems with rendering my c4d project and I am in need for some assistance. It is quite a long animation wich i split into different takes, mostly consisting of polygon objects and a few simple rigs for animation. Multiple times while rendering overnight C4D crashed on me with an application error. This is not after a specific amount of time, i experienced crashes both after like 20 Minuten and after a few hours. I attached the bugreport and octanelog down below. As I am relatively new to both cinema and octane i would love for someone to help me with this. I'm working in C4D R25 and octane Studio PR 13. If there is further information required for solving this please let me know.
specs:
Mac pro 2019
8-Core Intel Xeon W
1x AMD Radeon Pro W5700X
32GB 2666 MHz DDR4 Ram
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Hi,
unfortunately the octanelog has not recorded anything.
Please remove the installed version and download and install C4D-OctaneX-PR14 from the following link:
https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloa ... o_PR14.zip
Then please, open a scene that is giving you issues, then go to c4doctane Settings/Other tab, and, at the bottom of the panel, enable all the Log option checkboxes.
Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer, or until crash, then reopen c4d, navigate to c4doctane Settings/Other tab, press the **Generate log report** button, and share the octanelog_report.zip file, thanks.

ciao,
Beppe

Hello Beppe,
updating octane to octaneX PR14 seems to have resolved the problem. First 2 overnight renders went without any errors.
Thanks again for your help, much appreciated!
