Hello guys,
I asked this question in another post but got no response. My main render pass needs are usually crypto and denoised beauty. In the new AOV system the crypto pass doesn't work for me & has no info when extracting in AE, I also don't find a simple denoised beauty pass like traditional Octane passes system, I see multiple denoised passes (diffuse, direct/indirect, reflection, etc...) which occupy a large size on disk and I also don't need them. Can anyone help me through this? Thanks

Hi,
please try with latest 2021.1.2 version:
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=79289

- Avoid to use the c4d Save options, and save from Render Settings>OctaneRender>Render AOV group tab.
- Use the EXR(Octane) file format
- Enable the Save beauty option
- Enable the Denoised beauty option
- Click on Add render AOV>Auxiliary>Cryptomatte AOV
- Change the Crypto type

Thanks friend, I don't know how I overlooked the denoised beauty option, I totally lost it among other parameters, now I can get it. Only the Cryptomatte remained, when I choose it in the way you mentioned I still get no info in AE. Should I again traditionally apply some Octane tags to the objects to get the correct cryptomatte? Or the problem is somewhere else?
