Help with Octane killing my WI-FI

I've been using Blender TIER plugin for a long time, and always had this issue with octane slowing down or killing my wifi. I understood it has something to do with the way Otoy managed to create a free version for Blender. It's too complicated for me to understand. But the thing is that it used to work. Slow and difficult, but i could manage to render what i need it. But now, using OctaneServer_Prime_2021.1_24.5_stable, i have to say it became unusable.
After the first 10 samples, my wi-fi is dead in the water, although the render continues. I can't see any networks in my wi-fi windows control, i can't connect or disconnect but somehow the Octane Engine remains "Activated". Nevertheless, when and if the render reaches the sample settings, it doesn't finish the render but gives the no server error.

This happens almost constantly, although i manage sometimes by setting a low sample number, like 100 and resetting my system about 10 times, to finish one render.

Now, the funny thing is that I bought a basic subscription for 1 month and guess what! Even if it still slows down my internet big time, the paid version of the blender plugin is USABLE. It doesn't kill my wi-fi and I can finish rendering.

So what's the deal OTOY? Why offer a free tier that i can't use?! I mean until recently, the older versions of the tier plug in, although slow, still allowed me to use the it. But this latest version is simply UNSABLE!

Anyone has this issue with the Tier blender plugin rendering killing the WI-FI? I would love to hear your input!
My system config is a standard laptop, but that's irrelevant because obviously the issue is not related to my hardware or settings considering that the paid version doesn't present this issue.
