If I am switching between PC/Mac in Cinema 4D, which version of Octane should I use on Windows to allow compatibility with PR11?
I read PR11 was based off 2020.1, is that right ?
Should I use 2020.1.5-R4 ?

You are correct those are the same core versions so they have the most feature parity.

Sorry, but the Standalone version with unfriendly interface from 2005 is a pain for me.

Could someone please assist with getting the Houdini plug-in get compiled for PR13 I’ve lost 3 months of sub time now without a plug-in for my main DCC. Months and still the only info we have is that the dev is unable to compile the plug-in.
It’s great that the c4d version is working well but there has been not visible movement on the Houdini side.

The 104th page of a forum thread seems a bit of an odd place to release this. Could it be added to the user downloads page, or highlighted on the first page or something?
Yes - we should probably archive this channel. We will be releasing a 2022.1 Octane X test build soon and that will probably go out with the normal 2022.1 XB1 or XB2 beta release post.
