Hey there,
when working with many materials the workspace list is getting very big and it's difficult to find other workspaces. Would it be possible to group them in an "Octane Materials" group by default?

I am sorry, but I don't think this would be possible. The plugin needs each material mask to have it's own corresponding Octane Override in a workspace of the same name. Changing this would be incredibly hard, and require the re-writing of large parts of the plugin.

Hi Paul,
thank you for the quick response. Maybe I'm mistake here, but you can do it already by hand. I attached a modo file. All the Material Workspaces are in one Group and don't clutter the Workspace Overview, but are all still working and can be edited. Maybe this is possible to add as an option at some point.

Hi
This is a nice approach - thank you for sharing.
I would not change the plugin to automatically put Octane Overrides in a separate group. However you can obviously do this yourself manually (via drag and drop as you did in this example), or create a simple script to do this. I will look at a script option when I get a chance (or you can write it yourself).
Thanks
