Is there a way to convert the sRGB color that's is the user data of an object to the linear point color in an octane material?

I have an xpresso tagged to drive the color the user data color to the diffuse color but in order for the color to be correct I have to go to project settings and change the input color profile in the project settings form sRGB to Linear.

According to C4Ds docs, there can be unseen pitfalls for doing this. So maybe a math conversion of some sorts in Xpresso?

I'm not sure what that formula would be if that's the case.

Thanks!

Just answer my own question, this is solved by adding an C4D color node to the diffuse channel. Then one could use xpresso to change colors that way.
