sorry to revisit this subject :roll: , even if I read your announcement on the V1.0 which may be without internet connection in the * OctaneLive® Automated licensing system & Customer Area FAQ...
I just wanted to tell you that I bought a version of the engine of Marmoset toolbag of 8Monkey labs and for me they found a hackable system difficult, is how they proceed, each download/version proprietary have a version number / fingerprint and it sends you to your version you had a serial number that only works with your version number / fingerprint, nothing complicated in this and unstoppable for hacking for me! ...
I really hope you get a system that can satisfy everybody because I'd really like to try the latest version! :cry:
or I have to wait out the official 1.0 V and it's unclear when it will arrive ...

Not sure what you are asking or requesting? Are you having problems trying the latest version? I understand a internet connection is an issue for some. I would say along with the negative nature of HAVING to have a internet connection that a lot of benefits exist. You aren't restricted to a single computer and can move around if you want too. Access to a database of textures/shaders, etc.

no, I don't have the latest version just because I haven't internet connection and I don't want to have on my work machine, even with a router, firewall and other things that I don't know and don't control ...

But ,I'm not going to insist, as I see it must have an internet connection to run the latest version, too bad for me; I'll stay with the beta version 1022 beta 2.2b.

I don't really understand, the solution you explain seems to be identical to 2.2b, which was cracked.
