A few days ago, was watching an old movie called 'Mad Max' (remember ?)
This gave me inspiration.
I took an old model of a Dodge Challenger that I had previously used, with a little bit modelling (not my cup of tea) on blender for customization. I created the character and the background in daz Studio with a kind of 'Post-apocalyptic future' look in mind. Then back to blender to merge the whole thing together.
Then I throw all in Octane (with a little bit of tweaking on materials ;) ) and this is what I got ...

I really LOVE this program !!!!

Advices and critics are highly welcome, as they help me to improve my skills

I used Daylight, pathtracing and Kodak Gold 200 CD for camera preset. I don't know how long it take to render because I let it run overnight.

Yeah, now I see in your signature, you had some deal with Saint-Nicolas to get it before the date ;)
How many polys in the scene and what was the rendering time. I'd realy like to see what could be handled with 2GB.

I can sometimes be persuasive ... ;)

Not sure if this answer your questions : 1.264.906 triangles (659 Mb memory used).
The render time must something like 7 hours for 8000 samples/px. (this is an approximation, I let it run overnight).
Initial resolution was 3000*1024
