Hi everyone

I can't find PR13. Is there a PR13 trial version?

I'm working on MacOsX Monterey, M1 Max, with C4DR23 and C4DR25 but with R11 octane can't find the GPU ...

How can I try PR13? :-)

Best regards

k.

My computer is MacBook Pro 16 m1pro. I installed c4d-octanex-enterprise-pro-pr13, but there was a problem in rendering. Octane can render images, but it can't end it. When rendering sequence frames, it can't render the second frame. Find a solution

Hi,
Is Cinema4D R21 going to be supported by PR13 in Monterrey?.
Thanks.

Now that we have PR13 for Monterey is it safe to update to 12.1 Monterey or will this break the current working version for Cinema4D???

Thats interesting. Did you actually render anything out? Im troubleshooting for hours now to get any render passes (multy-pass export through Octane) out. It just "renders" forever. I managed to get it to work a few times with either nothing in the scene or with a combination of just a few things + "use denoised beauty pass" disabled or with a fresh camera.

I understand that this is not a final version but im sitting here trying to work around a bugfest while not being able to make my deadline AGAIN. Mac users who still stick with Octane showed extreme loyalty up to this point. Maybe its time to reward them with a bit more dedication to giving us an actually working product for a change.

This whole thing seems so ridiculous and hopeless. While Jules Urbach giving interviews and speeches from left to right how Octane 2022 will change the whole industry, Octane X is limping its both feet and is as unstable as it was year and a half ago when PR1 was released. Just promises and promises that with next release everything will be fixed… and then you find yourself once again making stupid faces and feeling somewhat dissapointed and thinking about all the money you have paid to Otoy over the years based on a hope and promises. Maybe the devs on Otoy really working as hard as they can and doing all they can to make it work on Mac… but it most certainly does not feel that way. My personal hope has started to dry out….

Remember when Jules stated that Octane was feature-rich, so we’ll spend the next year just working on stability? Well that didn’t last long. Octane is the living embodiment of feature creep - they just can’t help themselves.

OctaneX is much improved, but mainly because I bought a GPU with loads of VRAM. It still crashes frequently, especially when trying to render out passes, and denoising STILL doesn’t work. It feels like OctaneX will forever be beta software, endlessly running to catch up with the Windows version..
