Hi there,

This is probably a stupid question, but one can never know if this would be possible (or something close to this) in Octane c4d.

In Unreal there is a possiblity to 'blend' 2 objects together trough their materials.
For example: a rock on the ground has mat 1 and the landscape where the rock is lying on has mat 2. You can then blend those 2 seperate materials trough something that's called a "Runtime Virtual texturing" technique. This youtube video (look at the thumbnail, and you'll allready see what I mean) shows what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP3m-LY6BZA

Is this kinda possible? Probably not, since Unreal is a completely different program, but is there something, a technique, that could come close to something like that?

Thank you so much in advance!

Kind regards!
