Hi all I am rendering a simple scene with an animated Cd passed to octane 2021.1.04 through the octane properties. This is rendered on a 2 node deadline setup in batches of 10 frames. The issue is that the Cd only gets applied on that first frame of 10 and does not update every frame. So the color jumps drastically every 10 frames. How do I get Houdini/octane/deadline to read the color every frame? Deadline is the most current version and Houdini 19.0.383

Hmm, probably the Cd attribute can't be updated without fully reloading the scene. I'll take a look at it, but meanwhile you are going to need to render your scene in full scene reload mode (if rendered from Houdini) or frame by frame if using an external renderer controller.

Thanks,

I am trying all these approaches
- full reload to deadline
- full reload from houdini
- frame by frame from deadline with full reload on
- frame by frame from deadline with full reload off

I will report back with results

The attribute should be updated if the scene is rendered in "full scene reload" mode. Have you tried that?

Thanks,
