Its awesome, I love it, its so realistic looking, the subject is very nice also
But why is it so dark ? The reference image is bright and got a good exposure and your render is dark :?

Crank up the exposure and it will be perfect ;)

Totally freeking awesome! Sam is correct though about it being too dark - but it is just an easy white balance fix in the 2d editor of your choice. Great stuff! I just ran a quick "auto levels" in PS, and they look worlds better! I won't post them, as it is your work and this is for competition, but give it a go and update your post with them :)
