With this method you have provided me with is there any way to save out a object mask for the particles since they are just instances and not geo?

Hey Mate,

I downloaded your test scene and particles are still not rendering in my octane 2020.2.3-R3. If I however add an xpTrails generator, and add an octane tag to the trails, then set it to render as hair, octane renders this perfectly. How come hair object works, but not the particle render setting with Geometry linked to the sphere? What is going on?

What's you XP version? We need to use XP API for particle data but no need for xpTrail. Because it's simply accessible spline object, but xparticles has own data and accessible by this API. And we need latest XP version for now.
