I was testing Octane X PR12 for MAC OS Monterey. On the attached render I saw a line of green hash marks. Any idea of what they could be? I used pathtracing with 16000 samples.

Can you indicate where you see the green hash marks, and upload a sample file that demonstrates the problem?

Frank,

The picture (png) file I posted yesterday had green hash marks at the juncture between the floor and the back wall and also surrounding the fuzzy light reflection on the wall behind the sculpture. I showed the green hash marks to my wife and told her I was uploading the picture to see if someone had an idea. About a hal-hour later, the green hash marks "disappeared" from the file that I uploaded and also from the file that I saved to my hard drive. I have absolutely no explanation. But, I am certain I was not seeing things.

It could be an issue with Apple Metal display driver, that has failed, so the "green" effect was only on your monitor, not really in the render, or in the saved file.
Are you using OSL nodes in your scene?
Can you reproduce the issue, if you reopen the scene?

ciao,
Beppe
