About the new c4doctaneX PR12 version for Enterprise license, there is an issue with the darker interface in R25, so the old icons are not good:

to solve the issue, please replace the res folder in R25/plugins/C4D-OctaneX-Enterprise-PR12/ directory with the following one:
Afrer restart, Live View should look like this:

Any idea on when we might see a native Apple Silicon version of Standalone and/or the C4D Plugin? Right now they are running under rosetta.bepeg4d wrote:Enterprise only, for now.
@Gray_Parrot: ok, thanks for the clarification.
Yes, I was expecting something more, but this is only the first version for M1 Pro/Max, it could be better.
Happy Mac GPU rendering,

hi, peeps (otoy team in special)
i need a new machine and am on the fence at the moment
would you say octane is more or less ready to tackle the power of a maxed-out m1 max given what users have been sharing here so far?
should we expect significant improvements from their side in the near future?
of course i value portability, but i might invest in a desktop with a 3080 ti instead if things are not looking good
would appreciate some input on this

You need to allow the c4doctane plugin and library in System Preferences/Security and Privacy panel, and restart C4D a couple of times.leonthegod wrote:I can't get Octane X PR12 to open getting tons of errors and crashes with rosetta enabled. Without rosetta it doesn't show at all.

Yes I just upgraded to the latest 25.015 and still crashing.. I allowed the c4doctane-R25.xlib in security preferences. Am I supposed to be using it in rosetta mode?

Hi Guys,
Just got the M1 Max with 32GB RAM. Have been running some tests lately. I have a rig with 3070 and 32GB RAM. My test scene renders completely in 8 seconds on the 3070 rig whereas the scene took 30 seconds on the M1 Max. I am running the PR 12 Octane standalone edition. I tried using high-performance mode in power still the same result. Anyone knows when the Octane for Cinema 4D R25 comes out..
