Just bought a sub to R.25 - what a slow, buggy pile of whatever compared to my copy of R19 - but anyway....
1) Scene in R25 (2020.2.5) takes 3 mins 17 seconds to load before it starts rendering in the live viewer. Same scene R19 (2020.2.3) 31 seconds.
2) If you save your scene while rendering in the live viewer using R25 - it starts over. This doesn't happen in R19.
I have the latest NVidia drivers and all that.
Not Octane related - but I haven't used any other versions of C4D since I bought my perm R19 licence - I can't believe how cumbersome it's become. Faffing about with layouts and icons while we're still lumbered with core modules that haven't been looked at for over a decade in some cases. Anyway - rant over.... soz.

Hi,
did you use the same c4doctane version in both R19 and S25?
Please, open the scene, then go to c4doctane Settings/Log Output tab, and enable all the Log option checkboxes.
Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer for a couple of frames, then navigate to c4doctane Settings/Log Output tab, press the Generate log report button, and share the resulting octanelog_report.zip file, thanks.

If you could do the same in both R19 and R25, we can compare the logs.
ciao Beppe
