Hi,
I have issue when viewing octane spotlights exported from cinema4d as orbx. And then viewing them in standalone.
I have attached the viewer image name 1.png
1.png
and also the standalone image name 2.png
2.png
As you can see the light is not limited to illuminating inside the cone. Please help or i cannot use the rendercloud.
Thanks
Chris

Hi,
which version of c4doctane plugin are you using exactly?

I have tried with both latest 2020.2.5-R3 on PC, and PR11 on Mac, and everything has worked as expected

Hi,

Did you, perhaps, used a Cinema 4D feature/option/node that is not compatible with Octane Standalone (Octane core) and did not translate at the export?

I must be doing something terribly silly.

Hi,
unfortunately the c4doctane and Standalone exact versions are not visible in the video.
Please, go to c4d menu Script or Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and copy paste the default console output in your answer, thanks.

Hi,
My apologies.
The standalone was not the latest version. I have updated and it's working fine now thanks.
Best
Chris
