HDRI for lighting. about 6 to 7 mins render time.

added a bit more specular, and reduce the bump amount which I think caused the plastic look. Just wondering if there is a material property I am missing.

Perhaps tone down specular and make'em redder? oh..and a nice fruitfly to top it off. heh

Very nice!
Off memory, the dimples ( are they seeds? ) seem too large for the size of the strawberry and oriented in the wrong direction. I think they flow from top to bottom, yours seem to wrap like around a cylinder.


[edit] found a good pic. Surprisingly, this one looks even more specular but doesn't look plastic ( to me )

Looks nice. I'm not sure though if they are suppose to look like "fake" fruit because they do. They lack some sss if they're suppose to be eatable. ;)

It needs more seeds, and try adding some yellow/white colour to them, as they don't always come perfectly ripe :)
