somehow in my meanderings doing a DDU and uninstalling and reinstalling

I'm back on the latest driver and everything's happy no idea .....I'm gonna blame Windows weirdness combined with crappy Nvidia drivers and call it a day.

Can someone tell me how to get a Denoised Beauty pass using the Render AOV Render option? AI denoiser does not seem to be available as an option like it is through the add composite inputs on the AOV groups tab (see pics). And the Save Beauty option always gives a noisy version, even if the option is to use Denoised beauty is checked on the Main page.

This is the problem, if I use the first option, it gives me the Denoised beauty but also adds the Denoised Remainder to the exr and makes each file 5mb bigger than it needs to be. Thanks.

It's correct to do this what you selected. Be sure denoising activated in camera imager. "AI denoiser" is a typo, "Denoised beauty" is correct word.

Thank you, Aoktar. Yes, denoise is checked in the camera imager and I am getting the correct outputs for the cryptomattes and the denoised beauty.

I'm just also getting a "Denoised Remainder" layer as part of the .exr file that I don't need and was wondering if there's a way to get rid of that and just get the Denoised beauty and the two cryptomattes.

Anyhow, it's not a huge deal and I can work with it. Thank you for confirming that I'm approaching it correctly.

The image appears reddish when using the D65 white light spectrum instead of legacy/flat.
So it should be, or am I doing something wrong?

Scene: Octane standard daylight model is set at 45 degrees + 18% gray material. ODT is set to ACES sRGB.
D65 on the left and legacy/flat on the right.

Setting the white point of the Octane Camera to 6500K helps a little, the reddish tint turns yellow.

Does anyone know why the D65 white light spectrum gives a reddish tint and how to work with D65 properly?

Hi everyone.
I was two years off of Octane due to work and happy to be using it again.
I don't seem to be able to find the "out of core memory" check box...
Can someone update me on where to find that?

Best.
