Hello,
I have been using Octane with the free Blender tier since several months on my machine and this morning the following issue started.
Avast Antivirus requested me to restart my computer, so I stopped a current render and proceeded. When Windows 10 launched again, all my software works just fine but the Octane Prime Server. When I launch the app, it appears in the bottom-right dock. When I then click the icon, to open the Activation window, I can see an hourglass icon next to the mouse cursor and then the Octane Prime Server icon disappears and no activation window launches. Checking Activation Status in Blender doesn't work either.
I have already reinstalled both the Octane Server and Blender apps. I updated Windows, I ran CCleaner to fix registry and I disabled and later even uninstalled Avast. All other software works just fine.
This issue is incredibly frustrating and I can't find anyone reporting similar errors. Any tips will be greatly welcomed.

I found the problem. It was an issue with the GPU driver and reinstalling it fixed the issue.
