Hi,
I suspect that you have not correctly download/saved the materials in your LocalDB, and now the associated textures are missing

Please have a look at here:

Then download the following .orbx scene, open it with Standalone, select the Render Target PT node to start rendering, and at the end, please share a complete screenshot of the result:
Here's my result (AMD Radeon PRO W6800X Duo 32 GB and AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo). I hope I did this right?

Hi!
Thanks for the amazing update!

I'm running a Late 2015 Mac with Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 and a S24 C4D.
I've downloaded the PR11 C4D plugin (https://render.otoy.com/shop/primex.php the latest one from the shop) and used a R23 xlib file as recommended above in this topic. The plugin is now visible in cinema, but it can't recognise my GPU, each time i try to render the scene it returns a "There is no GPU devices which is selected" error.
Selecting my GPU in settings doesn't help, each time i come back to the setting after a render attempt the checkbox is empty.

Is my GPU too old or S24 is not supported yet, what can be the problem?

@bkindler: great, thanks :)
Do you mind to redo the test with only one W6800X GPU selected?

@askinskiy: Unfortunately Intel GPUs from 2015 are not supported, and please consider that Intel GPU is pretty slow, compared with AMD GPUs.
My suggestion is to use the Thunderbolt port to add an AMD eGPU to be used for GPU rendering only.

Of course not. Here's the Test: Just one AMD Radeon PRO W6800X.

Hi bkindler,
great :D

I have updated the chart:

Now we are missing only the AMD Radeon Pro W6900 X result.

Happy Mac GPU rendering,

Any news on the progress of OctaneX? I know stuff is happening behind the scenes, but what can we expect from the next release… and when?

I am trying to follow this ACES Tutorial:

Better Renders with ACES in Octane in Under 5 Minutes | Greyscalegorilla Tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t3qHtwyWcs

But I'm stuck because there is no color management Tab in Octane X.

ACES is listed as a feature on otoy.com:
Octane X further accelerates next generation creative workflows with ACES, OpenColorIO....

So my question is when it will be possible to use Aces in Octane X / Cinema4D?
