I think the official versioning is 1.0 [pre v6] beta 2.3 (an indication that it's a [pre-version 6 of] beta of 1.0 final version). The author just compacted that to 1.23-v6

Regardless of numbers we wait for the same thing :D

For my own, I'm not waiting for 2.3 v6. I'd just want at least some responses to my bugs reports.

I reported two very annoying bugs more than two weeks ago, and I still have got not even a single word of answer from refractive.

I know that Radiance is very busy, with travels and office installations, and so I didn't want to bother him with private messages about bugs, but I haven't been able to use octane for two weeks now !

I feel a bit worried !

I must say aside from the saving issues I am very pleased with version 5.
I am using it as my primary renderer and the results are pleasing.
It will be great when we can save a scene and then add objects by importing them.
This would create a very additive workflow.

Bugs are an issue. However as it is a Beta Version. I am more than willing to cut Refractive some slack.Hopefully once the Office moves & the new staff are in place it should be full steam ahead to a bug free Version....whatever that Version is called ;)

Tbh i think that incorporating all the changes for the new CUDA v3.2(that was released just 4 days ago iirc) _plus_ implementing that new fireflies-free rendering algorithm Radiance mentioned before, will take some good amount of time, so i wouldn't expect next version earlier than within a few weeks. Not talking about their office relocation.

Maybe mid-december, as a highly optimistic wild guess, correct me if i wrong.
