If I install the R23 demo plugin and point C4D to it in preferences -> plug-ins, Cinema 4D attempts to launch and load plug-ins but then the splash screen simply disappears and it doesn’t launch. If I simply remove the plug-in then all launches just fine but obviously now without Octane Renderer. I have an approved GPU driver (AMD FirePro W5130M version 27.20.21026.6). Any idea what could be going wrong?
Hi,
if you have an AMD Fire Pro GPU, you must be on MacOs Big Sur 11.2 or greater, but there is not a demo version for OctaneX Metal version.
On the other side, there is not an AMD CUDA version for Win 10, and the demo version is only for Nvidia GPUs.
