Hello!
I'm working on exterior architectural project and I'm getting different results between Live Viewer and Final Render. I suspect the problem lies inside Octane Scatter and Random Effector. As you will see from attached images and link to a project file, trees and rocks inside the scene are different in LV and Final render. Grass and flowers are matching though. Since I've already setup every single detail in the scene (trees, rocks, grass, flovers) to have a specific look with 20 cameras for render, this represents a serious problem for my project now. Any help I can get is appreciated. Please check the renders and link for a project file, so Octane Scatter and Random effectors can be analysed for this problem. Image on the bottom is from Live Viewer - tree bark on the right part of the screen (the proper look I need). Thanks!

Hello, can you please do a "Save Project with Assets..." archive that, and send in the result to [email protected] -- there are texture assets missing making this difficult to help you.

Hi,
thanks for sharing the scene via [email protected].
The issue is caused by the C4D Random Effectors used in the scene, apart from rocks, every other effector is set to Noise: Noise, Gaussian, Turbulence, ecc modes are animated during time, but Octane Scatter is not designed to work with animated data, so the result between Live View and Picture Viewer is different.
If you set all the Random Effectors to Random mode, like rocks, everything is static, and you have the same result between Live View and Picture Viewer: Note that you can randomize rotation and scale directly in the Octane Scatter Object, using a C4D Noise shader, like you have done for position, or if you want to use a different mode with C4D Random Effector, instead of Random, you should need to use MoGraph Cloner, in Multi Instance mode, and Display mode set to point.
ciao Beppe
