Hello everyone,
I've been trying search something in the forum for 20 minutes. I wanted to find "user data" but tons of posts are listed which has data and user words. advance searching is another thing that I spent time to understand and use it...

I realized that here I spent so much unnecessary times like this. This forum platform is like from 90's.

I need to find how can I pull a texture file name from user data of an object but I can't find related posts if there is any.

beside searching issue, my second problem is tracking and reading posts and their replys and quotes. People have to quote all message to reply and people have to quote from quoted reply... lost in "which reply belongs to which post" situations as well etc etc

please make this platform modern and useful .

I may be stupid for using this platform too off course. If so sorry for this post I will try harder.

When it comes to online forum structures it has been my experience that Modern rarely equates to Useful. Personally, I prefer the linear approach to posting and generally don't have an issue with the way this forum is structured and have been able to find numerous helpful discussions which I bookmark and often return to months later. I don't see how that is as easily accomplished with the social media type forums which always frustrate me to no end trying to find stuff.

Granted, I do feel the search function can be improved though.

You could also try Google search as I agree the board search is not that good.
