Hi,

currently I'm trying to increase the render speed of some of my scenes but I'm having trouble with the background when using the AI Denoiser. Everything looks good in the Live Viewer but when I try to render the scene in the Picture Viewer the AI Denoiser somehow doesn't include my C4D Background Object.

I've read on the forum that the Denoiser has it's problems with hdris (or had in the past) but since it works perfectly in the Live Viewer I figure there has to be an unchecked or checked button that might solve the issue for me. Sadly after several hours of trying I simply can't find a solution.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out to solve the issue!

Cheers

Anybody who has an idea or knows why this is happening?

Thx

Because it's an addon for plugin and it is not implemented in plugin side.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I still find it very strange though that it works fine in the live viewer window. Logic suggests it should be possible to get the same result when rendering a batch of pictures with the same settings. An extension of the live viewer with it's own render settings would be neat, so you can render all your takes/frames in a specific resolution with the exact live viewer settings.

Appreciate your comment. But it's processed with a different way and that's completely seperate part of display functions of LV and PV. And it requires to be implemented for a copied render pass. So I just can consider to implement it for background compositing in future

thx aoktar! No idea how complicated it is but an octane background object that works the same way as the c4d one would do as well. I sometimes like to use 2 hdris (one for primary and one for the reflections) which robs me of the possibility to use one of the hdri slots für the unicolored background. that's why the background object is so important to me ;)
