hi all,

i have read some older threads on the topic of octane v4 and rtx 30xx series cards.. and there is some claim that the 30xx series cards work with octane v4 (although RTX is disabled of course).

is anyone actually using v4 with 30xx series? if so can you report which model you are on please? all working? denoise?

Hi epoimran,
Octane v4 will not work with RTX Ampere, CUDA 11.2 or greater is needed.

Hi Paride,

just to be clear. The RTX cards don't work on V4 even without using RTX ON is that it? They will simply not render?

Or will they render but with RTX turned off?

Hi muski,
will not work in any case, Octane v4 can't support Ampere GPU series.
