IM still getting this error after downloading the dlls to the correct folder and re-installing Octane. Why has it always been so hard to install Octane? Since the beginning of time. If I hit the download button in the interface, it completes and then this pops up, I hit OK and then it says "Octane3dsmax.dlr failed to initialize". I have to remove the dll or I cant load Max at all. This just seems like a terrible implementation.

Unfortunately, I am having an issue with the NVIDIA cuDNN message on starting Octane. I downloaded the Octane Render Demo 2020-2-win, Octane Server Demo 2020.2.4-23.10-stable and Blender Octane Edition 2020.2.4-23.10-stableupdated. I have updated my NVIDIA drivers to the latest studio drivers, 471.41. I'm running Windows x64 20H2 Build 19042.1110. I have tried everything I can think of to install the required cuDNN library, but it will not work.
Using the 'Download' button seems to download something, but then the launcher fails with no error. If I choose to 'Open destination folder', no folder opens. The directions say to unzip it into 'thirdparty\cudnn_8_0_4', however this directory does not appear anywhere on my computer which I used Everything from VoidTools to perform the search. I've tried creating the directories manually in the installation directory, blender-octane directory and their respective AppData folders.
I'd love some advice to get going from here so I can give Octane a try! Here's a screenshot of my GPU-Z report:

Hi,
please download the cuDNN library from the following link:
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/ef/08 ... _4_win.zip
Then navigate to C:\User\Your User name\AppData\Local\OctaneRender, create the thirdparty directory, and copy in in it the 8.04 cuDNN library unzipped folder. ciao Beppe

Hi DustinM,
try to manually download the cuDNN library following this link:
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/ef/08 ... _4_win.zip
Then place it in C:\Users<user name>\AppData\Local\OctaneRender\thirdparty\cudnn_8_0_4\" folder so all octane builds (standalone and plugins) can load it.
