Do I need a specific format output for this to work?
As it is, I'm getting only the outputs of what is toggled as the render starts. I'm currently trying to export the passes as .Jpg sequences.
Are render IDs passes animatable?

Why do you animated ID parameters? What do you suppose to get?

Hi aoktar,
To save render time. I'm getting 40s per pass (resolution is 4096x4096). This x10 passes x1000 frames. It sums to something considerable.
I only need each in specific times. It too complex to start/stop the queue at every point it changes.
If I can't get it to work, I'll live with the unnecessary increase in render times. It's just that I find it odd to have the option but it doesn't work. I thought it was something wrong on my end...

Just make a bunch of render settings, set the frame range and set the IDs you need for the specified range. Add to Render Queue, set the render settings you want to use, rinse and repeat for every single render setting.zapfilmes wrote:Hi aoktar,

OK I'll disable animation option because it cannot be done. Assignment and setups are done before render session and not possible to switch.
Better to use crypto mattes

Cyrpto or layer color passes maybe alternative. Render masks are adding X times for render time.zapfilmes wrote:Hey galleon, I had already consider that. The thing is the overlap a lot, it would be crazy to create 30 or so queues just for that.
Aoktar. I didn't know about crypto passes, I'll try with that. Thanks for the tip...
