Just a query:
how essential is it, to be running the nVidia studio drivers?
What benefit does it actually provide for Octane?

not so long ago I used Windows 7 and regular nvidia drivers, now I have Windows 10 and studio drivers - and I didn't notice much difference.
AMD Threadripper 1950X/64gb ram/RTX 3080 Ti + RTX 2070/Samsung SSD 870 EVO 500 gb/

The benefit is that usually Octane is more stable using the studio drivers, probably because they are tested against DCC applications before releasing them.
