Hi friends,

I have some troubles with my Graphic card capacities, which seems to be worsse than before.
I have set up a scene, and I see that RAM available for this is about 6Go, so half of my GC capacities (NVIDIA Titan PAscal 2016, supposed to have 12Go.)

I know that Windows 10 "eats" part of that RAM, but half of it??

So, please, I would like to know how to adjuswst my settings better than this, because to be honest, I don't know what I will do if I change everything! :D

Thanks in advance!

I think it's not Win10's fault. I had the same issue on Win7.

I've experimented a little: DAZ Studio with empty scene takes 110Mbytes of VRAM. Then I loaded a model to the scene - and Studio "ate" ~620Mbytes.

When I've opened Octane's viewport I saw that I had ~4400Mbytes VRAM available, and ~3600 are used by Octane. After some calculations:

DAZStudio.exe (before opening viewport) - ~620Mb
dwm.exe - 440Mb
firefox.exe - ~520 MB
SteamWebHelper.exe - ~320Mb

Try plugging your monitors into another video card, and leave your Titan only for rendering
