Hi. I have noticed than having more than 4 vertex maps in an object makes buggy the vertex map shader: I have a vertex map for mixing two materials in an Octane Mix material, its OK. Then i make some more vertex maps (different names, different labels etc) for animating an object via cluster: The first 3 vertex maps made and all is ok. As i paint my 4th vertex map, the Shader stops working and dont paint the two materials mix at all.

Tried some workarounds (like baking the map, using the vertex map for mixing two black and white rgb textures etc, also putting my object into a connector and more). Nothing worked. Then switched to previus versions of Octane for cinema and the problem is the same in all.

Dont know if there is anything i can do to fix this, however, i make the advice if its useful for developers to fix this problem.

Sorry for the bad english. Regards.

Thanks for bring this! Here is the limits 4 float-attributes(4*Vertexmap tag) and 2 color-attributes(2*VertexColor tag). Are you sure you don't have more while working?

I can say i used a workaround for this, but it took me a few hours (managed to do some of the vertex map/field animations using morph tag and some vertex pushing and cloning objects).

I would ask for some more room to use vertex maps in objects in next versions of Octane, as i use them a lot in my quick "cluster" animations (a lot of vertex map tags are used sometimes).

Also, i noticed the Toon Shader Material in last version of Octane for Cinema 4D makes the program crash and i have to switch to the previous (R2) version of the plugin if i have to render a project with toon shader. Looked if there is more people with this issue but cant find anything about...

Thank you for the attention paid! Regards

Joan.
