about Integrated multi-scatter from volumes or surfaces, I'm very curious but how does it work, I've found no example or documentation ?

It is easy. You only need to enable the "Render as Octane Scatter Object" option and configure a scatter VOP node (that will be used to configure the scattering) and the objects to be instanced (4 max.). You can instance on surface or on volume. You can even instance these scatter objects.
