Hi,
I wanted to use the RNDR cloud and needed to export my scene to ORBX.
I have an octane scatter with forester flora plugged into it with thousands of iterations.
Whenever I try to export it to standalone if I export one frame (even in the animation format) it works fine but any more frames the standalone nodes go crazy. I get a single node for each frame and none of them (except the last frame) are plugged into the texture nodes. Basically I get untextured iterations for the entire animation except the very last frame. I'm not v familiar with the standalone - tried and tested that I could manually plug in the textures and that starts showing them on individual plants but that would take a decade also because I get as many nodes as frames it gets super messy my nodes take meteres of lenght. Tried the multicloner that comes with the forester and that seems to work - all the geometry is one contained group in the node view but that cloner has it's limitation so I'd rather use the scatter. Is there something I'm missing here? Tried limiting the amount of frames per export as this seems to be creating less mess but it always only rendres textures on the last frame.
Octane Scatter with forester multiflora export to ORBX

Hi,
please note that Octane Scatter is not designed to work with animated assets.
Better to use MoGraph in Multi-Instance mode, and the viewport Display set to None or Point.
You can also try to firstly use the c4d command “Bake to Alembic” for the Forester contents, to reduce complexity during export
