I'm using Octane Standalone 4.02.1, I suppose there is no way to create or use Volume Displacements in this version. How are volume displacement rendered or created to begin with ?
Volume Displacement has been added in 2019.1, so roughly in v6, and cannot be available in v4, you need to update your license to have it.

Volume displacements are discussed in the Volume Mediums section, located here: https://docs.otoy.com/cinema4d/VolumeMediums1.html

No link to the standalone version of using Volume Displacements ?
Hi,
as said, any version greater than 2019.1 has Volume Displacement.
Now we are at 2020.2.1:
