C4D startup problem

I have the exact same issue. Doesn't seem like anyone has commented to point out what the problem may be. I installed Octane as per the instructions..but this issue recurs.

I sorted the issue by removing the libraries that corresponded to other version of C4D. As near as I can tell, this is not part of the documented installation procedures.

It mostly happen if you don't remove the unused octane dylib/cdl64/xdl64 files
Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist

3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw
