I found on the thread the information on a method for using decals with Octane. That works well with maps that don't need resizing, however when the map that you are using is not on the same scale as the original texture map, you need to resize and reposition it.
The issue with that method is that if it is scaled down, the map will be tiled, which is not wanted as we for example just want to add a tattoo or a bruise to the body, not a whole range of them.
Is there a method that would allow to use a transform node without triggering tiling ?
