Hi,
I'm looking to create a material that looks like this: Image

Without using blackbody emission. The point is that i want the material to only reflect light coming from near the camera. Has anyone tried this? Ideas?

Yes images work now but i don't understand what is your problem with this material (do you have real world example in your scene?).
I'd use Universal material and use sheen/sheen roughness and falloff node to control angle of reflections.
Check for Velvet material tutorials online, that can give you some ideas.

Or something like this tutorial form Travis but with different color scheme of-course.

Hi Lewis
very helpful of you!
The angle of reflection is exactly my problem. Retroreflection is always going back from where the source of the light is +-5°
i'll try with the velvet/sheen roughness tutorials.
thank you
