Hi all,
As in the title, can I use an image sequence as a texture in Octane plugin for modo? Or an mpeg or mov animation?
If yes how.
Thanks!
M.

Yes you can! There are two ways available: The one described in the documentation: https://docs.otoy.com/ModoH/ModoPluginM ... %7C_____36
But as far as i know, the best way is to use a NodeGraph node and set up the animated texture there.

Thanks.
"Modo Image Sequences are supported by the plugin, but only with on-the-fly material conversions. They are not supported with Octane Overrides."
I'm doing something wrong, it gives me a black image.
For the nodegraph I'm not familiar with it. I'll dig some tutorials.
Thank you.

Hi - you need to setup the the image sequence using the Shader Tree "Image Map"->"(load sequence)". Then the images should be reloaded each time the timeline is scrubbed. You may need to tick Kernel->Animation->Reload Materials Each Frame."Modo Image Sequences are supported by the plugin, but only with on-the-fly material conversions.
