I just got this new computer and I was trying to render an image and the denoise process takes forever, the render with 1500 samples takes 1:30 minutes and the denoising takes another 1:30 minutes, and I don't think it even denoises the image.
I checked the device's configuration and it shows this (see image), why the denoise checkbox doesn't show?. Also, why the CUDA cores show a question mark?.

Hi Utiq,

Ampere cards need at least Octane 2020.1.5 build. Please make sure to install the latest Nvidia Studio driver [https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 0342/en-us]
Then, install the stable OctaneRender for Blender 2020.1.5 - 22.2 [viewtopic.php?f=113&t=76509]

Octane Denoiser is supported from 2020.2 builds, here is our latest RC7 link(viewtopic.php?f=113&t=76897).
They are almost stable but please do not use them yet for production work.

Cheers
Kind Regards

Thanks, it works now, I tried to update Octane and Blender before but that version doesn't show in my Downloads dashboard.

One more question, how can I activate the Dinoiser in the Blender Viewport? I can only make it work in the compositing final render.

Only stable releases can be found in the user's download section. That's what the forums are for.
