how install octane for houdini on linux mint?

i try now linuxmint,
i installed houdini, nvidia drivers and downloaded octane files.
I really don't know linux mint.
Someone can help me to install octane please?

It is like install it for Windows. You need to configure the houdini.env file including the PATH and HOUDINI_PATH variables pointing to the plugin directory (or configure a package for Houdini). In Linux, the Houdini $HOME folder including the houdini.env file is located at ~/houdini18.5
