Hi Tharso. Use the "Convert to Universal" button on the OctaneRender layout.

Thanks

Hi Paul,
When can we expect an update that will support Denoising for the Ampere 3000 series? Is there a Beta version I can utilize in the meantime?
Thank you.

I am still working on it. The changes for Octane 2020.2 are significant, and changing with each RC release, so it's probably still a week or two away.

I know that .. but imagine these textures coming from substance painter, how it would be easier to convert straight to universal mat, because when exporting to glossy it doesn't go with the metallic texture

I thought Substance textures were automatically handled by the plugin without you needing to create an Octane Override. You just need to have the Substance texture item in the Shader Tree group mask for the material.

Dont work sometimes and its not a good workflow. I prefer direct conversion to universal as option.

If you can be more specific about what exactly doesn't work, I can take a look.

When I use the xolotl painter to Modo plugin and I use substance plugin in Modo it doesn't work, only with sbars presets. And when it works I am limited with adjustments with these textures. Converting everything to universal material would be the smartest. It is faster and I can make color adjustments etc in Modo

Octane requires physical files on disk, and potentially xolotl is not providing these, so just converting the Substance material to a Universal material may not resolve your issue. I am not familiar with xolotl, so sorry I cannot be more help with this.
