Because it doesn't magically appear or apply to every part. Rendering of orbx proxies are my implementation. It's a custom object and having a drawing function and full access to data for any stage. Why not? Most of bigger software is not developed by one guy. Let me see it again, you are doing great work, delevering probably the best plugin integration of Octane. I just wanted to leave this here for anyone who had this problem or runs into it again, that since Octane for Cinema 4D 2020.2 the problem with Octane's support for SurfaceSPREAD has been resolved. A big thanks to Ahmet for his help with this.
